What is Pilates?
Appropriate for all fitness levels and ages, mat based Pilates strengthens the entire body.
The foundation is on strengthening the core, which will then support the strengthening of the limbs. It is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements.
Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, stabilization and balance. Classes will intermittently use various accessories (bands, balls, light weights) to enhance the workout.
What to Know Before Attending
Safety is our top concern. Please arrive a few minutes early complete our Liability waiver and avoid any delays.
To be most prepared here are a few things you might want to bring:
Yoga or fitness mat
