I LOVE FITNESS! I can’t remember a time in my life that exercise was not part of it. I started with dance at 5 years old, progressed to competitive gymnastics, high school sports and then to health club group fitness workouts. I began teaching Pilates and Yoga classes 18 years ago (wow, I’m aging myself). Then 7+ years ago, I got licensed in Zumba as a “fun activity” with my sister. Since then I am also a Strong Nation and Barre Above instructor, as well as obtaining my personal training certification. I cannot wait to share my passion for fitness with everyone who walks through One Spark Fitness’s door!

I am a certified Group Exercise instructor, a licensed Strong Nation (HIIT) instructor, as well as, a licensed Zumba instructor.  I have always enjoyed group fitness, from organized sports to attending an aerobic, step, bootcamp or weight lifting class.  However, about 9 years ago, I got licensed to teach Zumba and it truly ignited my passion to lead others in their fitness journeys. There’s nothing better than watching a class smile and laugh while sweating their butts off!  In 2019, four months before we opened, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and staying active helped alleviate the negative effects of surgery and chemotherapy.  When you come into a group fitness class, you are not only attending class for your physical health, but your emotional health as well. My closest relationships were started at the gym and that’s why I love the group exercise atmosphere.

Hi I’m Chrissy!  I am a high school math teacher in the North Penn School District. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and spent some time teaching at local dance studios.  I decided to get licensed in Zumba and Strong Nation in 2018 to keep dance and fitness a part of my life.  Working out is a huge aspect of my life, and I am looking forward to moving forward in my fitness career.
